...crickets...

It's been pretty quiet around here! That's because I have SO many projects going on at once!

I've really been working on my quilt for January's entry into The Lovely Year Of Finishes. If you're like me, you have tons of unfinished projects laying around everywhere. Why not join in on the fun and actually get some of those projects completed?!

A Lovely Year of Finishes

There's even a flikr group so you can check out everyone else's projects! Tons of inspiration to be found!

I've also been working on a new project to share with you all. It seems like everyone is all about organization around this time of year. Who knew?! Not me. Getting my house organized didn't even cross my mind! :)

But seeing all these neat ideas did make me start thinking about my sewing room-it could use some more organization to say the least. So, my first attempt is a Project Board. The actual magnet board I got at Ikea about a year ago.

That's what it looks like right now. Post-its that are falling off and lots of my little girl's art work. To be honest, I don't think I've even glanced at it since I put the post-its on it! And yes, I did add magnetic strips to my tv remote. I kept losing it...this was my solution. :)

I can't wait to finish this project. I'll be sharing it with you all later this week!

What's everyone else working on this week?!

  1. I also feel really guilty for not getting organised, I think that one was on literally everyones New Year resolutions. I have a report in for Uni next week and I haven't even started it.. whoops! Glad someone else is on the same page as me! :)

A project board is such a great idea to try and keek organised though, I also want to start some vision boards to keep me motivated!

    1. Things would be so much easier for me if everything was organized...I just don't want to be the one to do it! haha

A vision board sounds awesome! I'm always more motivated when I can actually see something.
